Congratulations to Will Asbel for the 2016 Billy Bee Fisherman of the Year award!

Congratulations to Will Asbel, our 2016 Fisherman of the Year!   Will is 9 years old and is from Warner Robins, GA.  He is currently dealing with medical issues but is a fighter!  He and his brother Chandler landed several sharks in July 2016.  Will was selected for his skill, determination and focus on catching sharks.  Will is a great inspiration to all who know him!!  Congratulations Will!!! 

Congratulations to Lynes McKinney for the 2008 Billy Bee Fisherman of the Year award!

Lynes is from Statesboro, GA and the son of Ray and Sally McKinney.
Lynes is an active young man who loves the outdoors.  In addition to being an avid fisherman, he has participated in Raptor Center Camp at Georgia Southern University.

Lynes has been selected for this award because he has caught the most species of fish for the year, including sharks, stingrays, whiting, flounder and speckle trout.  He is a very focused fisherman who fishes constantly when he is on the boat and is an excellent boat driver.  Billy Bee predicts Lynes will be a life long outdoorsman who loves nature and respects all living things!
